How alternatives compare to Fairmont
GoSports 7 ft Portable Pool Table
The GoSports 6 ft Red model is slightly smaller, measuring 76 inches long and 43 inches wide. It weighs 153 pounds, which is one pound lighter than the Hathaway Fairmont. You get a complete setup with cues and balls included, similar to the Fairmont. This table requires about 13 feet of room clearance, which is comparable to the 12 by 10 feet needed for the Fairmont. If you prefer a red felt surface or a slightly more compact footprint for a dedicated game room, this is a solid choice. It offers a similar portable experience without the foldable feature of the original.
GoSports 7 ft Wood Pool Table
The GoSports 7 ft Wood Finish table is built for stability rather than portability. It weighs 200 pounds, significantly heavier than the 154-pound Fairmont. Its dimensions are nearly identical, at 83.9 inches long and 47.6 inches wide. This model features a heavy frame and professional bumpers for a tournament-quality feel. You sacrifice the foldable design and easy storage of the Fairmont for a more permanent, durable setup. If you have a dedicated game room and prioritize a classic wood look and stable play over space-saving features, this alternative is the better option.
GoSports 7 ft Storage Bench
The GoSports Storage Bench is not a pool table but a functional add-on for 7 ft combo tables. It measures 66.9 inches long and weighs 62 pounds. This bench provides seating and hidden storage for accessories. It is designed to complement tables like the GoSports 7 ft models rather than replace them. If you already own a compatible table and want to keep cues and balls organized while offering guests a place to sit, this bench adds practical value. It does not offer a playing surface but enhances the game room experience by reducing clutter and improving comfort.
GoSports 7 ft Wood Finish Pool Table

This model includes cues and offers a stylish wood finish with blue felt. It is designed for permanent game room setups where stability is key. You give up the foldable portability of the Fairmont for a more robust construction. If you want a stable 7 ft playing surface with a classic aesthetic and do not need to move the table often, this option provides a premium feel without the portability constraints.
Hathaway Maverick II 7-ft 2-in-1 Table
The Hathaway Maverick II 7-ft 2-in-1 Table offers dual-game versatility with a black frame and blue felt. It weighs 240 pounds, making it much heavier than the 154-pound Fairmont. The dimensions are 84 inches long and 46 inches wide. This table allows you to switch between pool and another game, providing space efficiency for casual game rooms. You sacrifice the dedicated pool-only experience and foldable design of the Fairmont for multi-game functionality. If you value versatility and want two sports in one footprint, this alternative is ideal, though it requires more space and effort to convert.
VEVOR 7 ft 2-in-1 Shuffleboard
The VEVOR 7 ft 2-in-1 Shuffleboard Table is a lightweight option at 62.8 pounds. It measures 84.3 inches long and 24 inches wide, making it much narrower than the Fairmont. This table supports shuffleboard and curling, not traditional pool. It is designed for casual play in apartments or family rooms where space is limited.
