Specifications side by side

Allen R. Shuffleboard Models Compared

Allen R. Shuffleboard separates its lineup by table size and accessory needs. The 28ft Roll-Out Shuffleboard offers a full-size court for large home game rooms. It delivers tournament specs in a portable format. Shoppers with existing tables can choose from cue sets. The Premium Set includes regulation cues and discs for serious play. The Recreation Set provides a complete package for casual games. Families might prefer the Family Set with six cues. Players needing portability should look at the Telescoping Cue or Professional Cue. These options suit those who travel or store equipment easily. You can match the product to your specific space and usage requirements.

Where Allen R Fits Your Space

Allen R. Shuffleboard covers specific needs rather than offering a broad range of table shapes. The spread starts with accessories for existing tables, including regulation cues and discs. It extends to telescoping and professional cues for portability. The largest option is a 28-foot roll-out court for spacious rooms. You will not find compact or mid-size tables in this list. The brand also lacks lighting or electronic features. This range suits players who either need to equip an existing table or require a full-size portable court. It does not serve those needing smaller, dedicated units.

How to choose the right one

1. Match table size to space

You must verify your room dimensions before purchasing. The Allen R. 28ft Roll-Out Shuffleboard requires significant floor space, measuring 28 feet long and 54 inches wide. This model suits large home game rooms where you can accommodate a full-size court. Smaller rooms may only fit accessories for existing tables. Check your available square footage against the product specs. Ensure there is enough clearance around the table for players to swing cues without obstruction. Proper spacing prevents damage to walls and ensures safe gameplay during active sessions.

2. Select regulation cue lengths

Standard play requires cues that meet official length specifications. The Allen R. Shuffleboard Premium Set includes regulation cues designed for serious home play. These cues typically measure 75 inches, which is the standard for competitive shuffleboard. Using regulation length ensures consistent gameplay mechanics and fair scoring. If you already own a table, verify that new cues match the existing set. Non-regulation cues can alter shot trajectory and power. Choosing the correct length maintains the integrity of your game and aligns with tournament standards for home use.

3. Consider telescoping portability

Telescoping cues offer flexibility for players who need to transport equipment. The Allen R. Shuffleboard Telescoping Cue allows you to adjust the length for easier storage and travel. This feature is ideal for players who do not have a dedicated permanent space. You can extend the cue to full regulation length when ready to play. This model comes in a black finish, which is standard for most tables. Portability reduces the need for permanent installation. It allows you to set up the game in different locations within your home or take it to events.

4. Choose cues for mixed ages

Families with players of different heights need varied cue lengths. The Allen R. Shuffleboard Family Set with 6 Cues provides options for both adults and children. Shorter cues allow younger players to reach the table comfortably. This set includes regulation discs and necessary accessories for complete gameplay. Having multiple lengths ensures everyone can participate effectively. It eliminates the frustration of struggling with oversized equipment. This configuration supports inclusive family game nights. You can accommodate varying skill levels and physical abilities within the same household setup.

5. Check graphite shaft durability

The material of the cue shaft affects performance and longevity. The Allen R. Shuffleboard Professional Cue features a graphite shaft. Graphite is lightweight and resistant to warping from humidity changes. This material maintains straightness over time, which is critical for accurate shots. The included case protects the cue during transport. A durable shaft reduces maintenance needs and ensures consistent play. You should compare shaft materials when selecting a cue. Graphite offers a practical balance of strength and weight for serious enthusiasts who value precision in their game.
