Stern Pinball Range Overview
Stern offers only full-size pinball cabinets. Every model in this list shares identical dimensions: 27 inches wide, 55 inches long, and 75.5 inches tall. The Fallout Premium and Pro editions add 250 pounds to the footprint. You will find various color schemes, including blue-yellow-black, red-blue, and multi-colored options. Some models include specific model numbers for identification. There are no compact, mid-size, or mini versions available. You need a room with high ceilings and ample floor space. All units require dedicated areas for setup and maintenance. This range suits players with fixed game rooms, not portable setups.
How to choose the right Stern Pinball
-
Check floor space first
You need ample room for the cabinet's footprint. Every model listed measures 27 inches wide and 55 inches long. You must also account for the 75.5-inch height. Allow extra clearance for flipping the backbox and accessing the playfield. The Fallout Premium Arcade suits rooms with high ceilings and ample space. Ensure your game room can accommodate this substantial full-size unit before purchasing.
-
Consider cabinet weight
These machines are heavy and require a sturdy floor. The Fallout Premium and Pro models both weigh 250 pounds. This mass stabilizes the cabinet during intense play but complicates moving it later. You should verify your flooring can support this load. Heavier units stay planted better than lighter alternatives. Check the weight spec for your chosen model to ensure your space can handle the physical presence of the machine.
-
Match your theme preference
Stern offers specific licenses like Fallout, John Wick, and James Bond. Your choice depends on which franchise you prefer. The John Wick Premium Edition features AI-driven gameplay for fans of that series. The James Bond Pro offers standard connectivity for classic fans. Select the model whose theme aligns with your interests. The visual style and gameplay mechanics are tied directly to the licensed property you choose.
-
Decide on Premium or Pro
The tier affects features and price. Premium models often include advanced mechanics and glass upgrades. The John Wick Premium Edition highlights these AI-driven features. Pro editions provide a solid full-size experience with standard connectivity. The Venom Pro Edition offers a reliable cabinet without extra premium enhancements. Choose Premium for advanced gameplay or Pro for a standard, connected pinball experience in your game room.
-
Verify connectivity needs
Most modern Stern machines include Insider Connected features. This allows you to track stats and compete online. The Fallout Pro Edition and John Wick Pro Edition both support this connectivity. You need a stable internet connection for these features to function. Check if your preferred model includes this capability. Connected stats add a layer of engagement for dedicated players who want to monitor their performance over time.
