How alternatives compare to YDDS
Zieglerworld Regulation Large Shuffleboard Pucks
This option differs significantly because it is not a table cover. The Zieglerworld Regulation Large Shuffleboard Pucks are designed for 14-foot tables, whereas the YDDS cover fits 9-foot tables. You should choose these pucks if you need regulation-sized equipment for a larger table. The YDDS cover protects the surface from dust and spills using heavy-duty PVC. These pucks provide the correct weight and size for gameplay on longer tables. They offer customizable colors, which the cover does not. If your primary need is surface protection for a 9-foot table, the YDDS cover remains the correct choice. If you own a 14-foot table and need proper pucks, this alternative is necessary.
Zieglerworld Triple Crown Yellow Ice I Powder Wax
This product is a maintenance supply, not a protective cover. The Zieglerworld Triple Crown Yellow Ice I Powder Wax is intended for shorter tables, while the YDDS cover is sized for 9-foot tables. You should select this wax if you want to control the speed of your game through regular maintenance. The YDDS cover uses thick PVC and weighted corners to keep dust and spills away. This wax comes in a 24-pack for ongoing use. It helps maintain the table surface but does not offer physical protection like the cover. If you need to slow down pucks on a smaller table, this wax is useful. For protecting a 9-foot table from damage, the YDDS cover is the better solution.
Zieglerworld 4-Puck Shuffleboard Weights
This item is gameplay equipment, not a table cover. The Zieglerworld 4-Puck Shuffleboard Weights are regulation-sized pucks for large tables. The YDDS cover is specifically designed for 9-foot tables. You should buy these pucks if you are a player who prefers standard regulation weights. They are made in the USA and come in a specific ruby red color. The YDDS cover protects the table surface from dust, spills, and pet damage using waterproof PVC. These pucks do not protect the table at all. They are essential for playing on larger tables. If you need to protect a 9-foot table, the YDDS cover is the correct product. If you need regulation pucks for a large table, this alternative is the right choice.
