Fallout vs James Bond Pinball Specs
Cabinet dimensions
Both the Stern Pinball Fallout Pro Edition and the James Bond Pro Edition share identical physical footprints. Each cabinet measures 27 inches wide, 55 inches long, and 75.5 inches tall. This consistent sizing means they require the same amount of floor space in your game room. You can fit either model into standard residential layouts without worrying about clearance issues. The dimensions ensure a full-size arcade experience for both franchises. Since the measurements are exactly the same, neither machine holds an advantage regarding spatial requirements or room placement constraints.
Machine weight
The Fallout Pro Edition has a published weight of 250 pounds. The James Bond Pro Edition data does not list a specific weight value. In pinball machines, heavier cabinets often provide better stability during intense gameplay, reducing movement on the floor. However, without the James Bond weight specification, you cannot confirm if it matches the Fallout unit. If the James Bond model is lighter, it might be easier to relocate but potentially less stable. You must check the manufacturer details for the James Bond weight to make a fair comparison on mass and stability.
Connectivity features
Both machines utilize Stern Pinball’s Insider Connected system. This feature allows you to track stats, earn achievements, and compete with a global player base. The Fallout version specifically tracks S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats and junk collection across games. The James Bond version focuses on progress tracking, community engagement, and Challenge Quests. Both systems are industry-standard for Stern Pro models. You get the same underlying technology for online interaction and data storage. The connectivity infrastructure is identical, meaning your online experience will function similarly regardless of which theme you choose.
Unique playfield mechanics
The Fallout Pro Edition features distinct mechanical innovations. It includes a fully interactive Pip-Boy LCD display for real-time info. It also has an Up/Down Vertical Spinning Nuka-Cola Bottle Cap Target and a Mutated Inverted Upper Flipper. These are unique hardware elements not found in standard pinball designs. The James Bond Pro Edition data does not list specific custom mechanical targets or flippers in its features. It highlights audio and visual upgrades instead. If you value unique physical gameplay interactions, the Fallout machine offers specific mechanical differentiators that the James Bond specs do not mention.
Audio and visual assets
The James Bond Pro Edition emphasizes its multimedia content. It includes film footage and iconic music from six classic films: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and Diamonds Are Forever. It also features an upgraded audio system and a full-color mirrored backglass. The Fallout Pro Edition includes the original game soundtrack and sound effects from Bethesda titles. Both offer rich thematic audio. However, the James Bond specs explicitly highlight the upgraded audio system and film footage integration as key features, giving it a slight edge in described multimedia presentation.
