RAYKEEP vs REAHOISY Spec Comparison
Table Size
The RAYKEEP table measures 53 inches in length, while the REAHOISY model extends to 60 inches. Both brands market their units as 5-foot tables, but the actual playing surface differs. The extra 7 inches on the REAHOISY provides a slightly longer run for shots. This matters if you prefer a standard mini-table feel. The RAYKEEP is more compact for tight spaces. You should check your room dimensions carefully. The width is also different, with the REAHOISY offering 30 inches compared to the RAYKEEP's 25.6 inches. This extra width allows for wider shots on the ping pong variant. Consider your available floor space before deciding.
Material
Construction materials define the feel and durability of each table. The RAYKEEP uses durable MDF for its playfield, which is standard for pool tables to ensure a smooth, consistent ball roll. It features premium cushion bumpers for realistic bank shots. In contrast, the REAHOISY utilizes a heavy-duty aluminum frame. This material choice makes the ping pong table significantly lighter and more resistant to weather if used outdoors. The aluminum frame provides sturdy support for table tennis. The MDF surface of the RAYKEEP is optimized for billiards. You need to choose based on the game you play most. MDF offers a classic pool feel, while aluminum offers portability and bounce consistency for tennis.
Weight
Portability is a key factor for these folding tables. The RAYKEEP weighs 50.3 pounds, which is substantial for a 5-foot table. This weight helps stabilize the table during vigorous pool games, reducing unwanted movement. The REAHOISY is much lighter at only 17.6 pounds. This low weight makes it easy to carry and transport in a car trunk. It is ideal for taking to the beach or camping. However, the lighter weight might mean less stability during intense play. If you need to move the table frequently, the REAHOISY is the better choice. If you prioritize stability over weight, the RAYKEEP is superior.
Leg Levelers
Leveling mechanisms ensure a flat playing surface. The RAYKEEP includes adjustable levelers on its reinforced crossbar legs. This feature allows you to fine-tune the table on uneven floors, ensuring the balls roll true. This is critical for pool, where even slight tilts affect gameplay. The data for the REAHOISY does not explicitly mention adjustable levelers. It relies on its heavy-duty aluminum frame for stability. While it folds easily, you may need to place it on a perfectly flat surface for optimal ping pong performance. The presence of adjustable levelers on the RAYKEEP gives it an advantage for indoor game rooms with imperfect flooring.
Included Accessories
Each table comes with different accessories tailored to its game. The RAYKEEP includes two cue sticks, a full set of billiard balls, a triangle rack, two chalks, and a table brush. It also features built-in storage for cues and balls. The REAHOISY includes a ping pong net, two wooden paddles, and two balls. It has safety latches and carrying handles for transport. The RAYKEEP is a complete billiard set ready to play. The REAHOISY is a complete table tennis set. You do not need to buy extra gear for either. Choose based on which sport you want to play immediately. The storage features on the RAYKEEP also help keep your game room organized.
Which 5ft Table Fits Your Space
Billiards fans needing LED lighting
The RAYKEEP model includes built-in LED lights powered by three AAA batteries. It features a 53-inch MDF playfield with premium cushion bumpers. Users wanting maximum portability
The REAHOISY table weighs only 17.6 pounds, making it much lighter than the RAYKEEP option. It folds to a compact 30 by 30 by 2.8 inches for easy storage. The heavy-duty aluminum frame supports quick two-minute setup. This lightweight design fits in most car trunks, allowing you to take table tennis to beaches or camping trips easily.
Players preferring a longer surface
The REAHOISY model offers a 60-inch length, providing a larger playing area than the 53-inch RAYKEEP table. While the RAYKEEP focuses on billiard accessories like cues and chalk, the REAHOISY includes a net and wooden paddles for ping pong. If you prioritize a longer table for table tennis, this model provides the extended surface you need for gameplay.
