Key specs explained for KICK Splendor 55
Table Size: 55" L X 30" W X 36" H
This full-size footprint requires a dedicated room or large game area. You need ample floor space to allow players to move freely around the table. Standard home tables are smaller. This dimension ensures professional regulation play. Verify your room dimensions carefully before purchase to ensure proper fit and comfortable gameplay without obstruction.
Weight: 119 pounds
This substantial mass provides stability during vigorous matches. It prevents the table from shifting or tipping when you strike the ball hard. Heavier tables offer a more consistent playing surface. You benefit from reduced vibration and improved accuracy. Compare this weight to lighter models to understand the difference in match stability and overall build quality for serious players.
Color: Brown
This finish complements traditional game room decor and wood-toned furniture. It offers a classic aesthetic suitable for basements or dedicated entertainment spaces. The color helps hide minor scuffs compared to lighter shades. You can easily integrate it into existing interior designs. Consider how this tone matches your room's lighting and other furniture pieces for a cohesive look.
Form Factor: Full Size
This classification indicates regulation dimensions for competitive play. It supports official rules and standard player heights. You get a true foosball experience rather than a compact toy version. This factor is crucial for serious enthusiasts and tournament players. Compare this to compact or half-size tables to ensure you are getting the correct scale for authentic gameplay and proper rod mechanics.
Design and Build Quality
The KICK Splendor 55 presents a substantial presence in any game room. According to the listing, the table measures 55 inches long, 30 inches wide, and 36 inches high. This full-size footprint demands a dedicated space with ample clearance for players to move freely. The unit weighs 119 pounds, a heft that ensures stability during vigorous play. This mass prevents unwanted shifting or tipping when rods are spun rapidly.
The finish is listed as brown, contributing to an elegant aesthetic suitable for various decor styles. The design prioritizes durability, aiming to withstand repeated use over time. The listing highlights the inclusion of both counterbalanced and uniformed men sets. These components are integral to the playing experience, affecting ball control and visual clarity. The counterbalanced men likely offer more consistent rotation, while the uniformed set provides a classic look.
Construction choices focus on longevity and performance. The full-size form factor aligns with professional standards, making it appropriate for serious enthusiasts. The brown colorway offers a traditional appearance that blends well with home environments. The significant weight aids in maintaining level stability, which is crucial for fair ball movement. This build quality suggests a product intended for long-term use in a permanent game room setup.
Setup And Everyday Use
Setting up the KICK Splendor 55 requires careful planning due to its substantial dimensions. The table measures 55 inches long, 30 inches wide, and 36 inches high. At 119 pounds, the unit is heavy, which suggests you will need assistance during assembly. You must ensure your game room has enough floor space to accommodate the full-size footprint. Adequate clearance around the table is necessary for players to move freely without obstruction.
Once assembled, the table is ready for immediate play. It comes with two distinct rod sets: a counterbalanced men set and a uniformed men set. The counterbalanced rods allow for smoother ball control and faster reactions during matches. The uniformed rods provide a classic look and feel. You can switch between these configurations depending on your preferred playing style.
Daily use is straightforward. The brown finish and durable construction suggest the table is built for frequent play. You simply place the ball on the field and begin. The 36-inch height aligns with standard table standards, allowing for comfortable standing play. The lifetime warranty, available only on new tables purchased directly from KICK, offers long-term security. This coverage applies solely to the original purchase, so keep your receipt.
