Multi-game configuration
The Hathaway Spartan offers a 2-in-1 design. It includes a removable table tennis conversion top. You can switch between pool and ping pong in seconds without tools. The INOTEVERITORY table is a dedicated pool table. It does not include a conversion top or alternate game mode. If you want versatility in one piece of furniture, the Hathaway provides that option. Playfield coating
The Hathaway Spartan features durable red blended wool felt. It uses integrated rubber true-bounce cushions and drop pockets. The INOTEVERITORY table lists matte-black melamine as its playfield material in the key specs, which is unusual for a pool bed, but the variations list colors like Black+Green and Black. The Hathaway clearly specifies a wool felt surface for billiards. This ensures a standard roll for balls. The INOTEVERITORY data is less specific about the felt type, focusing on the matte-black finish. The Hathaway provides clearer surface details.

The INOTEVERITORY table includes an automatic ball return system. This feature channels pocketed balls to one side for quick setup. It eliminates the need to chase balls around the table. The Hathaway Spartan uses built-in drop pockets. It does not mention a ball return system.
