If you are looking beyond the Hathaway Fairmont 6 Ft Portable Pool Table, you have 6 alternatives worth a look. These hathaway fairmont 6 ft portable pool table alternatives share key specifications with the original, such as compact footprints and folding designs. The Hathaway Fairmont stands out for its 116-pound weight and 66-inch playfield, which supports stable play on various floors. It includes a complete accessory kit and folds flat for storage, making it ideal for space-conscious homes.
However, you might prefer different specs. Some buyers need lighter tables for frequent moving or larger surfaces for serious practice. Others may want multi-game versatility or outdoor durability. The selected alternatives overlap with the Fairmont in size and portability but offer distinct advantages. You can choose based on your specific needs for weight, surface type, or intended use. This guide compares each option strictly by its published specifications to help you find the best fit for your game room.
How each alternative compares
SereneLife 6 Ft Folding Pool Table
The SereneLife 6 Ft Folding Pool Table matches the Hathaway Fairmont’s 76-inch length and blue color scheme. It offers a nearly identical 31.8-inch height and 43-inch width, making it a close spatial substitute. However, the SereneLife model omits weight specifications in its published data, leaving you to guess its portability. It includes locking legs and an aiming system, features not highlighted in the Hathaway specs. The Hathaway provides a complete accessory kit with cues and balls, whereas the SereneLife listing does not explicitly confirm included game pieces. If you prioritize a built-in aiming guide over a pre-packed accessory set, this is a viable alternative. Both tables fold for storage, but the Hathaway’s 116-pound weight suggests a sturdier build than the unweighed SereneLife option.
GoSports 6 ft Blue Mid-Size Table Tennis Set
The GoSports 6 ft Mid-Size Table Tennis Set is a ping pong table, not a pool table. It measures 39 inches long and 38.5 inches wide, significantly smaller than the Hathaway’s 76-inch footprint. At just 30 pounds, it is much lighter and easier to move than the 116-pound Hathaway Fairmont. The GoSports unit stands only 4.25 inches high when folded, compared to the Hathaway’s 32-inch playing height. This product is designed for casual table tennis rather than billiards. It lacks pockets, cushions, and felt. You would need to purchase a separate pool table if you want billiards. This alternative suits those who want a lightweight, portable surface for ping pong in tight spaces, sacrificing the pool gameplay entirely for compactness and low weight.
JOOLA NOVA DX Blue Outdoor Table
The JOOLA NOVA DX is a regulation outdoor ping pong table, not a pool table. It measures 108 inches long and 60 inches wide, far exceeding the Hathaway’s 76-inch length and 43-inch width. Weighing 144 pounds, it is heavier than the Hathaway’s 116-pound frame. The JOOLA table is built for outdoor weather resistance, whereas the Hathaway is designed for indoor use with a blended-wool felt surface. The JOOLA offers tournament-grade stability and regulation dimensions for table tennis. It does not support billiards, lacking pockets or rails. This alternative is for players who want a durable, full-size ping pong table for outdoor use. It requires more space and effort to move than the portable Hathaway pool table, making it a dedicated outdoor solution rather than a versatile game room piece.
Hathaway 6 ft 2-in-1 Pool & Ping Pong Table
The Hathaway 6 ft 2-in-1 Pool & Ping Pong Table shares the brand but offers multi-game versatility. It measures 72 inches long and 38 inches wide, slightly shorter and narrower than the Hathaway Fairmont’s 76-by-43-inch dimensions. Weighing 100 pounds, it is lighter than the Fairmont’s 116-pound weight. This model includes a red felt pool surface and a ping pong top, allowing you to switch games. The Fairmont is dedicated solely to pool with blue felt and L-shaped cushions. The 2-in-1 table sacrifices dedicated pool features like mesh pockets for convertible functionality. It is ideal if you want both games in one footprint. The Fairmont provides a more traditional pool experience with included cues and balls, while the 2-in-1 requires you to manage two different playing surfaces.
Best Choice Products 6 ft Portable Ping Pong Table
The Best Choice Products 6 ft Portable Ping Pong Table is a table tennis unit, not a pool table. It measures 72 inches long and 36 inches wide, slightly smaller than the Hathaway Fairmont’s 76-by-43-inch footprint. At 34 pounds, it is much lighter than the 116-pound Hathaway. The Best Choice table is designed for indoor and outdoor casual play. It lacks pool-specific features like pockets, cushions, or felt. The Hathaway includes a full accessory kit for billiards, whereas this alternative is solely for ping pong. This product suits those who prioritize portability and lightweight design for table tennis. It does not replace a pool table. If you need a compact, easy-to-move surface for ping pong rather than billiards, this is a practical option, but it offers no overlap in gameplay with the Hathaway Fairmont.
SereneLife 108-Inch Table Tennis Table
The SereneLife 108-Inch Table Tennis Table is a full-size ping pong table, not a pool table. It measures 108 inches long and 59.8 inches wide, significantly larger than the Hathaway Fairmont’s 76-by-43-inch dimensions. Weighing 126 pounds, it is slightly heavier than the Hathaway’s 116-pound frame. This table is designed for dedicated table tennis practice with regulation dimensions. It lacks pool features such as pockets, rails, or felt. The Hathaway Fairmont is a compact pool table with folding legs, while the SereneLife unit is a larger, stationary ping pong table. This alternative is for players who want a full-size surface for table tennis. It requires more floor space and is not portable in the same way as the Hathaway. It does not offer billiards gameplay, making it a dedicated alternative for ping pong enthusiasts.
